A registered architect in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, John Hendry has spent 35 years practicing architecture across the globe. He joined NBBJ’s London office in 2003 to work on the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute’s Research Campus in Cambridgeshire, England. He later spent 12 years leading NBBJ’s corporate practice in Seattle, where he oversaw the design of Google’s Bay View Campus in Mountain View and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation headquarters project, before rejoining the London studio to lead projects including a new research facility for the University of Cambridge.
